Education is the key to breaking poverty’s grip, yet millions of Kenyan children face insurmountable barriers. We step in to remove those obstacles, supporting 112 secondary school students, 26 in colleges, and 19 in universities, many of whom are first-generation learners. Take, for instance, the two children with disabilities we have championed: once confined by physical challenges and financial strain, they now excel in tailored programs that adapt to their needs, proving that ability knows no bounds.

Beyond scholarships, we have spearheaded water projects in schools and communities, ensuring clean water flows where drought once stifled growth. In Muslim schools, we have built perimeter walls for safety, installed modern toilets for hygiene, and equipped labs and libraries with computers, transforming rundown facilities into vibrant hubs of learning.

The result? Over 150 young lives redirected toward futures as leaders, innovators, and change-makers, with ripple effects that uplift entire families.

Economic Empowerment

In a nation where women and persons with disabilities often face exclusion from economic opportunities, we provide the spark for self-reliance. Through income-generating activities, such as training in tailoring, farming, or small business startups, we have empowered Muslim women professionals in western Kenya to launch ventures that sustain their households. Picture a group of women, once dependent on sporadic aid, now running thriving cooperatives, their laughter echoing as they count profits that fund their children’s education. This is not handouts; it is investment in human capital, fostering entrepreneurship that builds wealth and resilience in underserved communities.

Social Welfare

Restoring Dignity to the Vulnerable

Vulnerability should not mean invisibility. We have constructed homes for homeless widows, the elderly and the sickly, simple yet sturdy structures that offer shelter, security and a fresh start. One widow, displaced by loss and hardship, now tends her garden in a home we built, her story a testament to renewed purpose. We have also distributed assistive devices to persons with disabilities, from wheelchairs to hearing aids, enabling mobility and participation in daily life. During crises, like recent floods, our food donations have fed hundreds, turning desperation into determination. These acts of compassion have sheltered dozens, proving that a safe home and basic support can rebuild shattered lives and strengthen social fabrics.

Religious & Psychosocial Support

Faith and emotional well-being are cornerstones of healing. We have constructed, repaired, and painted mosques, creating sacred spaces that foster unity and peace in Muslim communities. Beyond bricks and mortar, our psychosocial initiatives offer counseling and group support, helping individuals navigate trauma from loss or disaster. In western Kenya, where isolation can deepen divides, these efforts have brought people together, mending not just buildings but hearts, resulting in stronger, more cohesive communities ready to face tomorrow.
